The Office of Arena-Related Programs gives the community year-round access to Barclays Center through various programs including, but not limited to:
DBNA Community Tickets Program
This Program will provide complimentary tickets via a Sweepstakes system for events held at Barclays Center. The Sweepstakes will be managed for residents of the entire borough of Brooklyn, prioritizing Community Boards 2, 3, 6, and 8 (the areas nearest the Arena), and will include up to 50 Upper Bowl Tickets, 4 Lower Bowl Tickets, and seating in a Suite. Eligible organizations include community-based and not-for-profit organizations; schools (public or charter); educational organizations, and religious organizations within the abovementioned Community Board Districts. DBNA Community Events Programs
Ten (10) events per calendar year have been set aside to host community sponsored events. These events are handled through the DBNA Events Office. For more information, please contact us.
School Programs and Alliances
DBNA currently sponsors an annual Black History Month Essay Contest and Luncheon. Past speakers include star of stage and screen, Delroy Lindo; Rapper M 1 of Dead Prez; and, author/poet, Tylibah Washington. In addition, DBNA rewards exceptional students with tickets to games and events at Barclays Center. For more information about participating, please contact us.
Housed in Barclays Center, the Meditation Room provides a quiet space for reflection, prayer, and meetings for the community and patrons.
